Hi Rich People!
As promised I am back again! So, it is Friday January 26th, 2018 and can I just say today was a Rich Day! Hell, this was a Rich Week if I’m being honest. I have some hair updates, health updates, work updates, and TV show reactions for you all today. So, let’s get to it!
A while back my sorority sister put me up on game about the wooden comb as well as the hair care line Qhemet Biologics. Before, when I tried them I only did the cream products Burdock Root Butter Cream and the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream. With these two products and the wooden comb I did a twist out. Let me tell you all my twist outs have never been so defined, shiny, and moisturized! I was in awe. The only thing that I can complain about was that the twist out did not last that long. Now I am willing to try it again seeing that I did not use the whole product line. Earlier this week I received my own wooden comb courtesy of Natural Curls Club and the Qhemet Biologics Eygptian Wheatgrass Cleansing Tea and the Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee.
A little back story,
I got a silk press for my birthday in November and hadn’t watched my hair since then.
Ok, now when I say I only washed my hair one time…
I am telling you the truth! I know right! I was shocked too. I am normally a wash, scrub, rinse, repeat 2 – 3 times kind of girl. Imagine my surprise when I only did this once considering how dirty my hair was! Still amazed that my scalp passed the scratch test! You know when you scratch you scalp and check under your nails for dirt and/or product build up. I am also amazed at how moisturized my hair was. Now I used the Moringa Tree Conditioner as a deep conditioner before rising it out and using it as a detangler and leave in. I was running late for work, so I parted my hair in two down the middle and simply did two flat twists. Its been two days and my hair is still silky smooth and moisturized! One thing I absolutely love about this product line is that I can use the conditioner as a deep conditioner, rinse out conditioner, leave in conditioner, AND a detangler!
This week I started an 8 – week challenge. At the campus rec center, they debuted a new class called F45 and its free for two weeks. I went to the class, mind you it is a 6:15am, THE CRACK OF DAWN! This week was hard, but I am committed, and I am doing this with a group of people so it makes it easier to go. I have some goals set for the coming weeks to improve my health that I will keep you all updated with. I am so happy to tell you that I have lost 1.2 pounds this week! I know I probably should not weigh in every week, but I need the motivation for myself. A little background, I am using the app My Fitness Pal and trying to drink a gallon of water a day. My name on My Fitness Pal I Renaycheyenne, feel free to join me on the challenge as well as follow me on the app for free.
I have been working at H&R Block since December and I love it thus far. I did my first tax return earlier this month. Man, I was so nervous! It was a newly wed couple with kids! Long story short I did well! So, the reason I am bringing this up now is because they did the customer service survey and gave me all 5’s! This made me feel really good because I did not know that they did the survey and I also was posted on the board in our office break room for my leadership!
Just like Issa Ray “I am rooting for everyone Black!” So, The shows that I am currently loving right know are Black Lighting on CW Tuesday evenings, The Quad on BET Tuesday evening, and Grow-ish on Freeform Wednesday evenings. Now don’t freight, Black Lighting comes on for an hour 9 – 10pm EST. followed by The Quad 10 – 11pm EST. and Grown-ish on Wednesday s for 30 minutes 8 – 8:30pm EST. So, you know what that means right? Yep you got it! Breaking down the episode the next day and the Rich Lessons that I came away with!
Well, that is all from me and my Weekly Rich Update! See you all Monday!
